After visiting 4 different countries during the summer of 2019, I booked one last trip to celebrate NYE with my best mates in London. Two weeks before my flight, I extended my trip to visit Belgium; (because why not visit a new country if you’re super close to the European mainland!) I arrived in Brussels in January via Eurostar taking only 3 hours to arrive.
I absolutely love to find accommodations with the best views, interior design, and above all: PRICE! While scouring the internet, I came across a boutique-hotel called Hôtel Résidence Le Quinze. What sold me on this property was the incredible view of the iconic Grand Place. In addition, the mini ladder to climb up to the window felt like a little playground! I stayed for 3 nights at a rate of $120 per night before tax. I’m a sucker for a great deal and it’s exciting to find places like Hôtel Résidence Le Quinze that offer exceptional views that a 5 star hotel can’t.
While staying at this hotel, I was in the heart of Brussels. I was a 5-minute walk away from the famous chocolatier, Elisabeth and the grocery store was nearby. With many shops and restaurants in the surrounding vicinity, it’s impossible to find a better location. The management was very hospitable and helpful which made me absolutely love my stay at Hôtel Résidence Le Quinze. It was local, authentic, and truly a comfortable experience.
I’m a big advocate for finding great accommodations that tick off all of the boxes without needing to be a 5 star stay and Hôtel Résidence Le Quinze is an example of that. Because of this experience I previously had, I’ve re-booked this hotel for the holidays again with my pup Cookie! I’m excited to visit back and stare at those stunning views again.
If you’re looking for a place to stay while in Brussels (especially for the Christmas Markets!) I highly recommend you book Hôtel Résidence Le Quinze. Because the holidays are such a popular time for travel, prices are higher at the moment starting around $190 a night for the “Double Room with Grand Place View” and availability is booking up rather quickly for December.
