Located in Old Town Kaleici, Tuvana Hotel offers a spectacular location, beautiful rooms, three restaurants, and a stunning pool. When you add all of that up, they have everything your heart may desire. The staff is extremely helpful and the restaurant service is above par. Most importantly, their breakfast buffet is huge with a wide variety of fruits, bread, etc catering to all types of diets.
Location: Situated in the center of Antalya, the tourist sites are within walking distance. Some of the nearby landmarks include Hadrian’s Gate, Hidirlik Tower, Yivliminare Mosque, and Mermerli Plaji.
Mermerli Plaji is a 10-minute walk away and for a few dollars, you can spend the day there swimming in the clear blue sea. This is a great nearby spot to spend the day relaxing without the crowds of Lara Plaji. Make it a half-day experience and visit one of the several restaurants nearby offering stunning views of the Mediterranean sea.
Rooms: The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and filled with elegant Turkish decor. The beds are soft featuring plush comforters to ensure a well-rested night. Depending on what you book, your room may have a balcony that overlooks other areas of Tuvana such as the pool. You can expect a fully-stocked minibar, toiletries, and a large closet for clothes and storage.
Restaurants & Amenities: Tuvana hotel offers three sprawling restaurants including Seraser, Il Vicino Pizzeria, and Pio Gastro Bar & Bistro. The most famous one is Seraser, an international fine-dining experience. Open between 4-11 pm, they serve classic Mediterranean dishes in an elegant, upscale atmosphere. I ate there three times during my stay and the food was delightful. Furthermore, the service was above par which made my overall dining experience fantastic!
For starters, I recommend ordering the Grilled Jumbo Shrimps & Aegean Herbs Cream followed by the Ricotta & Aegean Herbs Gnocchi and Seafood Black Fettuccine. All these dishes were delightful, fresh, and not over-filling. Seraser also makes great cocktails like frozen daiquiris (perfect for an afternoon by the pool!). While portions are on the smaller side, you’re paying for high-quality meals in a fine-dining establishment.
As part of its amenities, Tuvana Hotel offers a mid-sized pool with loungers for guests. You can relax on the chairs and order a cocktail or go for a swim to cool off from the sun’s rays.
What Other Guests Have Said: During my stay, I had the opportunity to mingle with other guests and chat about what made them choose Tuvana. The most common response I received was: location, price, and amenities (specifically the pool!). Tuvana is doing an excellent job of catching the attention of travelers and giving them a pleasant stay during their time in Antalya.
Overall: If you are looking for a relaxing stay in Antalya that offers a fantastic location, a stunning pool, and numerous restaurants, then Tuvana Hotel is the place to book. If you are like me, the convenience of having three restaurants on the premise is great for a late-night meal after 21:00 (9:00 pm). Additionally, the pool is a great perk for travelers who can cool off during those sweltering summer months when temperatures reach above 32C (89F).
