After graduating college, I flew out to Paris to begin another European adventure celebrating 4 years of hard work and dedication! Today I’ll be sharing some of my favorite spots in Paris! Beforehand, I compiled a list of restaurants, cafes, and bars I wanted to visit. While I didn’t get a chance to visit every spot I jotted down, I discovered some new spots in their place!
- Laduree
Visiting Laduree on Champs Elysees is a MUST! I tried their “Chicken Vol Au Vent” for the first time and fell in love. It’s basically a circular, crispy pastry filled with chicken and morels with a creamy mushroom sauce poured over the dish.
It’s filling and delightful, especially if you have a big appetite after a shopping spree! I’ll definitely be back again for the atmosphere and dishes!

- Marcello
Hey pasta lovers! This spot is for you. Located in the 6th Arrondissement, Marcello offers cozy outdoor and indoor seating with a rustic vibe. With a wide array of entrees to choose from, I ordered the “Summer Vongole”.
The clams were cooked to perfection & the courgette added a nice touch to a light dish. The service was great with the staff being very friendly and helpful at deciding what pasta dish to order!

- Grand Mosquée de Paris
You’ll feel like you’ve just visited Morocco after dining at this restaurant. Grand Place Mosque offers ethnic and authentic dishes that take me back to when I visited Morocco. I ordered the “Pastilla” which is a flavorful pastry made with a similar dough to filo. It’s filled with chicken and cinnamon together for a savory meal.
Besides pastilla, I also had the “Chicken Tagine” which is a hearty dish with a variety of spices, lemon, and olives with tender meat. The staff was very attentive and kind!

- Libertino
Libertino is part of the “BIG MAMMA” group that has a variety of establishments all over Paris & in other big cities like London. I visited Libertino after snagging a last-minute reservation to the popular spot in the 10th Arrondissement. I ordered their famous “Pasta à La Truff” and it was delicious. The dish comes out in a small-sized pot just for you! While the truffle oil was over empowering the dish, it was still an overall good one.
Additionally, I also enjoyed Libertino’s drinks. I ordered their “Bellini Spritz” twice and it was very refreshing with natural flavors. The presentation was fabulous with a tropical vibe.

- Mon Square
Saving the best for last is Mon Square! An instagram-able bar and eatery where you’ll find local Parisians socializing in a stylish setting. My friend Helena (Who was also my photographer in Paris!) took me here for dinner and drinks. With two different rooms & each having their own theme, it’s made Mon Square super Instagrammable because of the variety of different backgrounds. The staff is lovely and attentive. I highly recommend this spot, if you’re looking to avoid touristy places.
